NCEP develops open access, multi-component resources for teaching and learning in conservation, or modules, to support the work of educators, trainers, and practitioners. Designed for the university or professional level, each module covers a diverse topic in conservation biology and is written by an expert, or team of experts. They are peer-reviewed and revised by NCEP for educational content. Module components may include: a background Synthesis and open resources for learning; a visual Presentation with Teacher Notes and discussion questions; a practical Exercise with accompanying Solutions; interdisciplinary Case Studies; various Assessment Tools to measure student learning gains; and carefully selected Open Access Resources from our partners across the world of e-learning.
All NCEP modules are available free of charge for educational use, adaptation, and distribution. Registration is required for educator-only content (e.g. Exercise solutions).

Lessons in Conservation
Lessons in Conservation is the official journal of the Network of Conservation Educators and Practitioners (NCEP). Published electronically as issues become available, Lessons in Conservation is designed to introduce NCEP teaching and learning resources to a broad audience, covering a variety of conservation topics which target undergraduate and professional level education.
